They were gonna dump our local school's FFA program a few years ago. Needed the money to keep the sports program healthy they said. An old farm gal (with her chore clothes on) stood up in the meeting and asked each individual school board member exactly how sports had benefitted them after graduation from high school. Rural school - nearly all the board is made up of farmers, or farmer related jobs, if you count a banker or two.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
