Speedex? Maybe

I found a tractor today that looks like a Speedex from a distance. When you get up close to it you see that it has an air cooled Novo DA engine. The man that owns it says that it has a model A Ford trans and rear end. It's built just like a Speedex but the parts don't look cheap and thrown together like on a Speedex. Some parts look identical to Speedex parts. Could this be some experimental Speedex model? How rare are the air cooled Novo engines? This is the only other one I have ever seen besides one in my posession which is a model BA. Thanks for any info.
