Wis - he said much more than that.
"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it -- that that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what. ... These are people who pay no income tax. ... [M]y job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."
Again I'll defend my 90 year old mother. She went to college at an age when most women didn't, and then helped win a world war. She married a vet, and starting raising three kids. When her husband, my father died, when I was 13 she went back to school and got another degree, got a job and and finished raising us kids, sending two to college. She has worked hard for what she has, has never felt like a victim, and doesn't think she is entitled to "you-name-it", she only feels she's entitled to what she has earned. She doesn't feel the government has a responsibility to care for her, so is not dependent on government. She has a very high degree of personal responsibility and cares for her own life. She is a fine US Citizen, proud of her country, yet she is one of the 47% that Romney has no pride in and has deeply insulted. People like him are a much bigger problem in this country than people like her.

I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
