Younger daughter drove her 95 Geo Prizm to her sisters so she could change oil in her shop. First time she had changed oil in this car. Her sister and two or three others were hanging around in shop, talking, etc. I guess they kinda distracted her. She called me and said, "Daddy, when I stop the car won't idle good, and transmission doesn't change good either." By that time she was only about two miles from the house, she had driven it about ten miles already. I told her to bring it on home. She had drained the transmission, and added oil to the crankcase! Next day I straightened everything out. Refilled transmission. That was at least 200,000 miles ago and the thing is still going.
