maybe only a couple companies that make batteries but, like motor oil, they're NOT all made the same. The internals of the batteries are likely made to the spec of the label going on it. If autoz wants a super cheap battery they'll but in less substantial parts that may not hold up to vibration as well and fail, if napa wants a super duty battery they'll put in thicker plates, connectors ect.
Have had good luck with the BIG napa truck/tractor batteries (11 years that sits alot) and the older (10 years ago) plain napa batteries Bought a couple AC Delcos since a couple cars may not outlive the batteries. Have been good so far (1 year). Haven't bought many lately as the Factory Chrysler batteries have gone 9-10 years. One used car had a sam's club in it and it died at 1-1/2 years, no reciept, no warranty..

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
