Isit an upright or chest. A chest can have the lid open all day and not make any difference. The upright is is a different story. But it's not all that bad because the fuller the freezer is the longer it will take to thaw it out. Personally I doubt that any damage was done they couldn't have been there that long. Go to the A&P and look at their setup open chest and people opening the uprights all day. Walt
