he just told you his own problem, as well as the vast majority of young people, [ say under 30] their parents were the first generation to believe that it was somebody else s problem to raise their kids, not theirs, kids were allowed to just sit and take up space, when home from school [ if they went at all, i knew of one lady who home schooled her kids "school' consisted of 10 movies a day from the rental place, while she did whatever], and this coincided with the development of computer games, giving kids no reason at all to really do anything, there is a add on the radio now, basically rewarding kids for going outside to play at least 1 hour a day, say what? when i was a kid there wasn't much time to play, but lots of time for chores, when we did play mom couldn't get in in the house at night let alone have to shoe us out of it. these kids today are raised to believe that they dont have to do anything, the government will take care of them, they didnt pay attention in school they played games all the time at home, and they wonder why there is no jobs for them, they seem to have missed the part about in order to hold a job, you must first have the skill set to perform that job
