I got called into the conf. room two weeks to the day before Christmas one year and told my dept. and job had been eliminated. Gee thanks, took me about four months to get the job but I went to work for the competion.
The old place did not make or ask me to sign a no-compete agreement. I told the new company everything they wanted to know.
