Took my sons to the school bus before sunrise. Hooked up my cattle trailer and got it positioned for loading cows. Carpooled to work. Came home from work (in the dark) and then loaded cattle. Then spent about an hour pulling my pickup and trailer around the barn yard the with the MFWD tractor and log chain in the sloppy mess we now have now that the frost is back out. Once free of the slop, I hauled the cull cows to the sales barn, came home, then pressure-washed the trailer. Fed the animals and now I'm back to dreading getting up before sunrise to take my sons to the school bus again.
Only another month or so and days will stop getting shorter! Days don't seem nearly as long when the sun is shining most of the "day".
