Thanks a bunch - I have guage on order...so hopefully I will have that soon...for some measured pressures.
I believe my problem is with the steering system. I used the tractor last spring and the steering gave me some trouble...once on the road returning from the farm I was working on, and then twice hauling two different gigantic stumps (one so large it ripped a logging chain in tension).
They were very fast losses - came back quick.
When it re-presented this fall - I was able to warm the fluid by driving up and down the driveway 5 or 6 times and pressure finally came back...
Then that didn't even work.
It looks like the MCV draws off the reservoir of the tractor...If you had anything that would be worthwhile - it would be a hydraulic diagram for the tractor showing where test ports might be and maybe could understand the hydraulic systems interaction, then work my way thru the system...Once I get the guage and fittings.

How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
