: : : : : : : : : : : What would be a fair price for a restored 1950-52 Farmall H? I have an opportunity to buy one and would convert it to a wide front. Please give me a range for the value if you know. Thanks for your help! : : : : Steve, a lot depends on what is on the Farmall. If it has fenders, radiator shutters, it is obviously worth more. In Indiana, prices would range from $1,500 to $2,500 depending on the options, tires, 12volt conversion, etc. : : : John, I agree with everything you said except for the 12 volt conversion. Most of the collectors that I know prefer the tractor to be as original as possible, including 6 volt system and convert them back if they are : : : a complete restoration. : : Steve, good point. Still have the 6 volt gen under the workbench if I decide to sell down the road. : :::John, thanks for your help. I looked at the Farmall C today and it looks to be in great shape. It sure looks BIG after using a Farmall Cub! The seller, who is a close friend of a person I trust, said he had no problem using a 6 foot bush hog. Any thought on that? I also wonder what the horsepower is. This website has a place where it said it was about 20. Should that be right? Thanks for your help! Steve the H is approx. 25 HP. It can pull a 6 foot bushhog with no problem. I helped a lady last year get her H started and she had a 5 ft. It was cutting foot high grass/weeds easily.
