I would fix the Ford first. We had a 6140 AC 4X4 with a loader. It would lift any bale. But was slow going from forward to reverse. no shuttle. They are in your price range. But I wouldn't recommend one. We have a 4320 JD compact 48 hp. now. It has a electronic hydro. goes back and forth with two petals on the floor. Loader is fast and has quick tach bucket and bale spear. Also good cab. Will put 14 bales on our trailer in a flash. Think about a Case 480/580 C to E Backhoe Loader. They are in your price range and they have a torque convertor and shuttle. You will never regret owning one. Opinions are like bellybuttons everybody has one. :) Vic
