: : OK, I got a new battery (very big at that) and started the truck. I was able to get it off the blocks. It made absolutely no difference. This truck is stronger than hell. Good News: the battery will start it in gear now. :-) The truck just purrs (or should I say "growls") along. There are no trees near this thing. There is no possible way I can get to a tree, or at least I am not in the life risking mood today so that option is out. The brakes don't work so I don't want to take it up a hill. What should I do? Can I pull it with something? I didn't heat the clutch up like I was planning to, so that might help if I did. I am at a total loss as to what I should do. Lord save me. : * * * Just shoot the silly thing and put it out of its misery ! * * * : Actually is there a cover plate or inspection hole where you can get in with a very thin chisel (with the pedal depressed) or a blunt punch ? A small nick in a clutch plate is very minor compared to a stuck clutch. : Good luck. :-) Luckily there is no need now. The clutch came apart this after noon, I got it started and was crawling along and gunned it to show mt brother what it would do, then it stopped moving and the clutch was free! Now about those brakes.....
