Its your tractor do what you want. I have some here in my collection, I will only use if I have to as used parts are hard to find and new are non excistant. I have a Major I use right now for grass cutting. I just picked up new tires for her. I have always wanted a concourse restored tractor so this ones gonna get done, and retired and gonna use another one instead. The guy I Got it from just passed sadly, so gonna do it in memory as he wanted to see it when I had done it. I never really had the time while he was alive so gonna make a real effort to find the time do it now. Regards Robert

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
