In my world, the most valuable tractor on earth isn't worth the time of day if you cannot or will not use it. I don't believe in abusing equipment, but I don't believe in standing around looking at a tractor that's never going to be used. I've got a couple tractors that I've done full blown restorations on, right down to the smallest detail. They don't use aftermarket or replacement parts, just OEM/NOS original parts. Even went as far as to get the closest thing to the original brand and style of tires. Then I use 'em just like I did for the first 40+ years I owned 'em. I couldn't possibly care any less what someone else thinks about that. I did it for my own benifit.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
