Your JCB has a Perkins 4.236 and it would be my guess that the screen in the fuel feed pump is blocked,remove the top from the pump and clean the screen and body,put the top back on,bleed the air from the system and see how it goes, that engine is hard to bleed, open all the bleed screws, there could be one or two fuel filters, operate the priming pump lever till bubble free air comes from the filter/s and close the bleed screw/s, prime on till air free fuel comes from the lower bleed screw on the injector pump, close it and finish with the top one,prime on till the lever goes limp,loosen all four injector pipes a couple of turns, spin the engine over on the starter till fuel spurts from the pipe unions and tighten them up,start the engine, you need to check if the heater plug is working as those engines do not like the starting fluid.
