7700 Ford would be a good choice, but it was only available as a diesel. Same with the 7000 that someone else mentioned. The 5000 and 6600 were the biggest gassers Ford offered, at 67 h.p. (late 5000...earlier ones with the smaller engine were 57 h.p.) and 70 h.p., respectively. I have a Westendorf TA26 on my Ford 4600, and it's great. Would easily fit a 5000/6600. I have a project 5000 that I'm swapping a gas engine into...but I'm in n/w WI, and probably too far away...

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
