Please help with hydraulic problem.

I have a Massey Ferguson 135 and when I hook my bush
hog to it the lift will pick it right up with no trouble.
But when I hook my lift pole to it, it will barely pick up
anything. Even if I move the load closer to the tractor.
I have changed the filter and cussed at it but neither one works.
Any suggestions???
