As many have posted here, our family dog died yesterday, and it wasn"t nice. She was 3 years old. Good watchdog, loved truck rides, etc. Well, we went away over Thanksgiving, when we got home, she was limping. Our son"s friend had been watching the place, keeping the gate shut so we knew she hadn"t got out. Figured something fell on her leg. Wife takes her to the vet 2 days later, seems a very infected paw is the culprit. Had to put her out to clean it up. Things seemed better (except the cost). Next day, she"s acting very funny, drooling bad, can"t eat, can"t hardly drink, we think apparently from the "operation" and pills. 2 days later, back to the vet. This time, another vet, a large animal person, realizes the dog has tetanus. Uh oh. This time a massive dose of penecillian is tried. Well, it didn"t work. Respiratory failure yesterday. The kids are upset, the vet bill isn"t small and now is not the time to lose our watch dog.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
