My girlfriend - best friend, was an RN hospice nurse and loved her work; she was the best at it. Sadly, she has passed - 1999. Those folks do wonderful work.
Though my dad had been really failing for a while and unresponsive for over a day, I was at my fathers bedside, holding his hands and talking to him as he left this earthly life - 2007. Strange as it may sound, it was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life; thanks in part to my girlfriend teaching me that the sense of hearing is the last to go.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
