Yes I agree as a society we have become a little to thin skinned, or at least some of us. I remember years ago being told to "consider the source" when attacked, that was wise but has also caused me some troubles in later life. Yes there are people that might think I'm a jerk, and if I happen to think they are jerks I might tend to not give their thoughts and concerns much credibility. I am getting a little tired of this whole tolerance thing being a one way street, I have to be tolerant of a lot of things I don't feel are right but there seems to be a lot of people that for whatever reason don't seem to have to be very tolerant about my opinions or beliefs and want to shut me up, that's wrong. Or to put it in a tractor related manner If someone wants an Allis Chalmers tractor who in the heck am I to tell them they're wrong and they should really have a Farmall? If I tell them why a Farmall is a better tractor and what I feel about A/C tractors it might offend them, but they should consider the source, obviously I'm someone who isn't all that impressed with A/C tractors and as long as I'm not trying to make A/C ownership or possession a crime I don't feel they really have a grip.

The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
