This truck has 165K on it and I have no reason to believe that the starter is not original equipment. Lately when I turn the key, every now and then nothing happens. When I try it again, it acts normal. When it malfunctions, there is no noise like the solenoid is trying. This morning was a lot colder than when I tried it last. It took 4 tries before it engaged and started like normal. Any ideas or similar experiences to look for. I know an intermittent problem is difficult to fix. The two thoughts that I had were the switch or the solenoid if it has one, on the starter. Thanks, Roy
