I'm wondering if drawing salve would help, even a day or two later? Mom used to put that on me when I would have a wound or infection, always healed up quick. A few years ago I had an ingrown whisker (ouch) and I discovered they still sell the stuff. Called "Prid" (Smile's Prid Homeopathic Salve from Walker Pharmacal Co. St. Louis MO), comes in a small orange tin and I got it at Wal Mart. Pulled that painful whisker out over night. Might pull the poison out from your wound.
