If it has the third stick opening it isn't a 770. The 770 gear case is narrower than that of all other DBs. All 770 boxes were 2 stick. Totally different transmission than any other DB. The 3 opening/3 stick gear cases were use on the 780, 880, which were also small 3 cylinder DBs. Might also be a tractor that Johnny cash wrote a song about... something someone put together out of a pile of parts.
Get me the serial number and I can tell you what you have. You will find the SN stamped on top of the frame, right side, just forward of the engine.
