I grew up in the age of the "Family Farm", where everything, every day went toward SAVINGS, to purchase what you could not Trade Work for... My Grand parents were still digging graves (by hand) at age 75 and mowing Oller Cemetary walking behind heavy mowers, to earn money.. Grandad mowed the Twp roads and had two Clipper Mills he used steady, for soybeans, seed wheat and Timothy and Red Clover.. He put in his own field tile, some 7' Deep and over 160 Rod of it.. We didn't know then that what we were seeing was unique, but..looking back, I can remember there being those slackers in the community who would rather ask for a hand-out or steal. I just cannot grasp the idea that there are so many slackers now... America HAS gotten SOFT...
