More taxes, are you crazy? We already pay taxes to cover the operation of law enforcement orginizations who can't protect us, why should we also have to pay to protect ourselves? That said, an "assualt rifle" is no different than any other. Think about it this way, are you any different when you are wearing a suit and tie or your dirtiest work clothes? I say that because you can take a plain jane Ruger 10-22 and add a different stock, and other acessories and turn it into something that looks like it came right out of Seal Team 6. In the end though it's still a 10-22...........
Now if they want to make money, take the ones that they catch with illegal guns, the ones that use them to commit mass murder, and actually make an example out of them and lock them up, take them to the town square and have a Pay-Per-View showing of the hanging that results......

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
