DeltaRed, you are so correct! Many "online" orders charge an extra shipping charge so you don't really save that much. And I have bought two sets of tires from Walmart, my first and last! About five years ago I was in Walmart one day and just happened to look at their tire prices. Hmmm. not bad, think I will purchase a set, several dollars less than what I been paying. So, OK, they hand me the bill and tires-xx amount, valve stems-xx each, balancing-xx per tire. I actually saved less than $5.00 per tire over what I would have payed my local dealer because when he quotes me a price that INCLUDES mounting, balancing, new valve stem and disposal fee for the old tires. That is why I have been doing business mainly with him for almost 35 years.
