My youngest boy loves Gene Autry and I like him too. I never cared for Chuck Connors in anything he ever did, something about him drove me nuts. Anyways, Gunsmoke, the older ones, Have gun Will Travel, Wagon Train, Rawhide, Lawman, the one with Steve McQueen- I forget the name, most of the older black and white ones. Big Valley was pretty well acted, but for goodness sakes, I don't care how desperate you are nobody was going to pass up Audra (Linda Evans) for Victoria!!! (ancient Barbara Stanwick). I realize they were catering to "The Big Stars" ego, but that old broad was always having people attempt to get some nooky from her while leaving Audra tied up to a tree someplace. Horse puckey! I liked the Bonanzas that concentrated on Hoss. They were usually humorous and pretty good. Couldn't stand Little Joe then or now. Little sissy boy was always crying. I used to have to suffer through "Little House on the Prairie" cuz my folks liked it and he cried every 30 seconds on that one too.
Anyone remember "Heck Ramsey" and "McCloud"? They were later period 1970's shows I think. I remember liking them. And "Cades County" with Glenn Ford and Edgar Buchanan! I always liked Glenn Ford. "Death Valley Days" with John Paine I think, Wild Wild West, Lone Ranger, SGT PRESTON! even if he wasn't a cowboy!, The Cisco Kid, Maverick, Laredo, of course Lancer, Here Come the Brides and Alias Smith and Jones- my wifes favorites, The Virginian- my grandmothers favorite, Rin Tin Tin, CHEYENNE! gotta love Clint Walker, Cimmaron, Daniel Boone wan;t a "western" but I really liked it, Sky King was another not quite western, Rifleman.....man, there were a lot of them.

It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
