The old IH dealership building was like that up stairs. If you stepped off the runway it was just s heet rock. Boss hired a guy to do some odds and ends. Sends him up stairs, says, be careful, don't step off walkway. I was working down below on a truck transmission. The guy comes down right over my head. I jumped aside, he missed the transmission. Was a little shook up, boss had him checked out at hosp and fired him. Why he didn't get killed was a miracle. Boss said, he never knew I could holler like that when I yelled to him to come help.
