However... if you have a Texas CHL (Concealed Handgun License) the records are somewhat private. An individual can send off to the State of Texas in writing requesting to know if a specific person has a CHL or not, but... the person you inquired about also gets a letter from the State telling them there was an inquiry and exactly who made it. No aces up the sleeve, you wanna know, you gotta show your hand too.
