Parts that look small and unimportant to most people may be the most sought after and hard to find original part there is on a certain antique tractor and no full original restoration would be complete without that part and if they are scarce they'll bring a big price.Simple economics very little and dwindling supply and much demand equals Big $$$$. I'd say ebay is one of the best places to get realistic prices of what something is worth because they cover such a huge area,so localized prices both high and low are averaged out on ebay. If you see an item go for $200 and there were 5 bidders that were still in after $150 than you can be assured the real world value of that item is at least $175 if you have one to sell.Thats like JD Patio garden tractors certain orginal color seats in nice condition are worth well over $1000 when the rest of th tractor can be had for $1000 but the restoration isn't complete without the original seat and they are very scarce.
