DIY channel does a pretty good job of showing home building and remodling One show in perticular, "Homes on Homes" does real well at showing by examples on how Not to build or remodel and then shows the correct way. "This New House", is informative, The "Crasher" shows are questionable, and I have noticed some less than smart construction practices, and code violations, in my opinion. All in all these shows don't have the drama, that Discovery TV puts forth in their shows, but They don't produce "soap opras" like Disc. TV. I do get a kick out of "World's Dumbest" on TRU TV though. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
