I use Rumber. Recycled tires and plastic jugs. It is the same dimention as a 2x8. It is rough top and tongue and groove. They request cross memebers be every 12 to 15 inches. Drills just like wood but cuts with a skill saw terrible. I over set the saw blade and keep one man handy with the WD-40 spray to keep it the blade lubricated. Red Neck Trailer Sales is a good suppler. Expect the price to be 2 to 3 times the price of wood.
