Thing of it is some people are wealthy enough to renounce their citizenship, dump their US assets and move to another country. Some are considering it. What country is going to reject a new resident who is wealthy? What country is going to seize assets from them? What country would be willing to extradite them over taxes in the US? OK I admit I'm odd. I don't mine paying my fair share of taxes. I like having nice roads. I like the fact that when I dial 911 someone picks up on the other end. Taxes, increased cost of things, reduced handouts ECT. So now I'm laughing at everyone crying so hard about it.
