We had a chevy bus at work did that. We pulled in the shop two hours later went to back it out. It would crank but not start. It thru a security/thef code which prevented it from starting. Is your fuel pump running when you first turn the key on? If not use a mallet and tap on the bottom of the tank and see if that helps. Just a thought from previous experience.
