We are getting about 8-9 eggs a day from 12 red star hens I bought from a Amish farm in SE Iowa. The guy had 1200 hens for sale at his place. I already had 3 Draft horses in the trailer so we put the 12 hens in a big box and put them in the tack room in the nose.Didn't want them messing on my harness. Then headed back to Illinois . This is what it's come too running chickens and draft horses from Iowa to Illinois, oh the outlaw life

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
