I have around 15-20 hens and I get 6-7 eggs every day. O do cheat some. I have a light on 24/7 and in one of the 2 chicken houses I have a heat lamp and just a small opening for them to go out side. The house with the heat lamp is an old travel trailer and I have an old towel hanging over the door so only about an 18 inch square is open for them to go out of. The house then stays a good bit warmer so I get a good number of eggs. I also hatch but eggs in such a way that the hens/pullets start laying in Nov. or Dec so as to have more eggs this time of year. Hatched them this year so as to have pullets about a month apart so when they started I have slowly more and more eggs being laid
