No. The weight of the Propane will be around 1800 pounds, plus the weight of the tank. When I worked for a Propane seller we would take straps and make a sling to lift the tank body. We never lifted a tank with any hook or eye that was welded to the tank unless the tank was brand new and being unloaded from a semi trailer.
