dont know about the diesels as i only own old stuff i can work on without all the emmisions stuff but one thing i have noticed with new trucks my friends buy is you need to pay attention to the ride quality and seats in the new ones, my old dodge seats are worn, but have always been comfortable, boss bought a new 2012 dodge after we used mine on a out of town job for a parts chaser , what a disappointment the fuel millage was half of what my old 12 valve gets and the seats! his is a 1 ton crew cab [ 4 door] the seats are horrible, in thinking i believe the only worse riding seat i have ever sat in was in the cab of a 1958 B model mack years and years ago, i mean these things ride like a rock and hit you in all the wrong places, any trip over a couple miles is a torture ride in that tuck, im 6'4"
