We started cutting wood for the evaporators yesterday. The woodshead needs to be nearly full to last the season.. Just pulling out some downers and standing dead, to start with. Today was my first day up there, as I'm finishing a couple of projects at home. The cousins were pulling out logs with a Maxxum 5240MFD with cab and loader, NOT the handiest tractor to have in the woods with low branches and it's wide wheelbase. Monday I will skid logs with the Case 300. It can get off the woods roads, and between trees to snage the logs out. I will do that and the young guys can bull the 30" blocks onto the splitter and stack them. LOL. We are suppose to get rain tomarrow, and near 50F Sat and Sun. Loren,The Acg.
