I haven't had a ticket in over 35 years. I just don't feel the need to rush anymore. So I keep it within 5MPH of the limit. However, on my snowmobile I am out there to have fun, but there is way more enforcement on the snowmobile trails here in NH than there is on the roads. Way too many people are getting injured or killed on sleds, but it is never at high speed. It is pretty much always people that have little experience and riding sleds that are not properly equipped or set up. So they run off a trail going 40 MPH in a 45 zone that should be 20. Meanwhile the cops are out on the wide open trails where the speed limit is also 45, where you can easily cruise at 70-80 MPH, writing up young guys on well equipped and set-up performance sleds. You will also them way out away from any population, where there may be four sleds go by in an hour, while around the towns it would be non stop traffic. Pretty poor use of taxpayers money if you ask me.
