Brother an I cut all of the twines off the bales on the top layer of hay in the barn- figureded it would be easier to feed if we didn't have to take it off first. Re-baling it all in the barn added to the lesson.
Another time, we were sitting in the back door shooting a bunch of young bulls with BB guns. Brother figured we could get them in a cross fire if he went down to the barnyard gate. This worked real good until we both plugged one in the jewels at the same time. The bull went through the gate Jim was using for a gun rest. The top hinge broke off, and the big oak gate pinned him under it. About a dozen bulls went past the kitchen window about the same time G-dad was looking out. When he got to the barn, I was trying to lift the gate off of my brother. Not a big deal CSI, and the old razor strop was put to good use. I think we got the last bull back about a week later.
