On another theme, when my wife was getting dinner ready for some company yesterday evening, she called me and said there was something wrong with the garbage disposal. It wasn't draining. It ran fine and sounded normal, just wasn't draining. The other side of the sink drained fine.
With company arriving, the whole thing got put off until this morning. Pulled it apart and found the drain plugged with potato peels. Told my wife that's why you're not supposed to put potato peels in a garbage disposal, they're too flexible and gummy to cut up properly.
She said she knew that, but with company coming, she got into a hurry.
Anyway, I just love to tear the drain under the kitchen sink apart on a Sunday morning.
