I started farming with a older neighbor about 10 years ago, he lost his wife a couple of years ago to cancer and my wife and I have worked out a deal to take over the farming and buy cattle from him. I still winter cattle at his place, so that I have an excuse to stop in and check on him and help do odds and ends. Then I got up and told him I was going out to finish chores and asked where he was headed. He got a sheepish look on his face and said "I have an invitation for coffee, but I'm not telling you who with". I wished him a good evening and went out to do chores.
