Had to do the same thing here a few weeks ago, she checked it while running and the lint was sucked in. I got this dryer from a friend of ours that was updating to newer appliances, and have used it for almost two years. While apart in the lint housing was 11 22 LR bullets and a few 17HR bullets(a little biggger than the 22LR), so was happy I took it apart and then installed stove pipe for six feet instead of the old crappy flexible stuff the landlord had supposedly just replaced.
