Tell Ben that I said hello as well.
My initial guess is that if you round him up a computer as many here have suggested, that he will also need an air card and of course, an internet service provider. I don't see the nursing home allowing him or anyone to use their network, although that would be nice. That also would pretty much only leave him with dialup capabilities from his room, but most rooms don't have phones. Hmm. That pretty much leaves him a computer that has an air card (cellular), and then an internet provider like AOL, or... Of course, the near future is making personal computers obsolete, being replaced by Razors and the likes. Perhaps his daughter can get him a far better deal on such a hand held device.
Good luck, and do tell him Hello from everyone here, as well as best wishes.
