15 watts will not do much. The speakers are probably low efficiency and use up much of the wattage. If the 15 watts is peak power, it will distort at partial volume of the desired listening level in a noisy location. 60 watts RMS per channel is more like it. 45 RMS will do. A liner amp is needed, or a higher powered front end. I have a techniques receiver with 4X45watts RMS into 4 ohm 6X9 two way waterproof speakers with the outputs paralleled to 90 watts into 2 speakers in an open sports car. It works. Jim
