I went into our local Tire Factory store this past summer, and bought a truck tire (used) for my manure spreader, and when I was settling up with him Walt gave me a new Tire Factory cap. That was unusal, but Walt said I was a good coustomer, and he just felt like it. I figgured that since the new Les Schwab tire store had just started a few blocks away, that it was probably a bribe. last fall I needed a tire filled with calcium, which Tire Factory doesn't do, so I went into Les Schwab's to get it done. While parking the truck, I drove by a guy walking out in front of the store. When I stepped out of the truch the guy was approaching me, and said he was the store manager, and would help me with whatever I wanted, but asked me to remove the Tire Factory cap, I was wearing. Said he would give me a new Les Schwab cap if I would come inside. The whole thing seemed a little silly to me, but I went along with him, and got my business done promptly, and also a new cap. (you know how those caps get smelling bad in the hot weather) I was ready for a clean one anyway!
