I have a shed that I'd like to build a small shop in one end of and put in a woodstove but I'm worried that it would be to close to the barn. I will try and draw a mental picture for you all.
The shed is 28x72 and runs north to south with the doors on the east side. The barn is an old bank barn about 50x100 that is on the north end of the shed. The 2 buildings make an "L" shape but there is about 16-18' between the 2.
The woodstove would be on the south end of the shed so I'm guessing there would be around 85' between the chimney and the barn.
Am I being paranoid about a spark going that far and setting my barn on fire?
