I don't know if you saw my post a couple of days ago, but I just picked up a new 2014 Volvo truck on Wednesday. Things are changing again it trucking. The nose trucks are more fuel efficient, but the "big nose" pete's and Kenworths are going away for smaller, lighter, more fuel efficient trucks. My old truck would allow for a 46,000 pound payload and my new one with Darts new light weight trailers will haul 53,000 payload. Most new trucks, at least in large fleets are going to auto shift too. That is also more efficient and convenient. That's what is in my new one and I love it so far.
